How You Can Help

LIFT needs your help! For the library expansion project to succeed, we need talent, elbow grease, brains, commitment and money!

Right now, we need a few hardworking committees to get the project off the ground. We're also collecting pledges and donations. If you can help with time, money (or both!), please fill out our online form below, or print the form and send via regular mail. Your personal information is strictly private and will not be shared with any other party.

	I want to be a LIFT Volunteer!
	Local Fundraising Committee Members initiate fundraising activities, send out mail solicitations, personally solicit local businesses, and make presentations to civic groups.
	Political Process Committee Members contact local and state government representatives, and encourage local residents to make their wishes known. If County Commissioners approve a bond or sales tax election, members would campaign for passage, initiating letter writing campaigns and advertising in newspapers.
	Grant-writing Committee Members investigate grant opportunities, especially foundation grants. They work with the Library Board and Library Staff to identify specific needs and help write grant proposals.
	Media/Community Education Committee Members make county residents more aware of the library and it's role in our community. They work closely with local newspaper, radio and television identifying opportunities for news stories, interviews, etc. They also may be in charge of a booth at the Winter Fair and/or make presentations to local civic groups.
